How do you read your codex?

I just got my hands on my copy of the Necron Codex, DSC00025and from the experience of reading I realized that my pattern to read codices, First I read the story, then I view the minis and lastly I read the rules.  After realizing that I wondered how others do it and wanted to ask, with that in mind I ask you in the pool what you do first. You know I'm an inquisitive guy. ok lets see your answers..

  1. I first look at the pretty pictures, then read about some special units I might like and their rules then I get started on the story :D

  3. Im straight in for the rules, costs, and wargear. In my mind i immediately start thinking of combos and looking at uses on the tabletop. I usually dont admire the pictures too much since by dex drop these are usually all over the net or already in last months white dwarf. Once ive got the lists part down i will read the fluff when convenient. Like before bed each night or in the water closet!

  5. I can't help it, but I've read the unit entries and rules many many times, but many of my codexes have unread fluff. Even for my main two armies!

    I'm a bad man.
