another round at my broodlord and something more

OK today I painted a bit more my Broodlord mostly to finish details. 

Along all  that I started to chop away at my second AOBR Dread to have a walking rifle dread what do you think?

Also If you look carefully you will watch the other work on my AoBR sergeant where I removed the un-helmeted head and replaced it with a troop helmet.

Finally a Space Hulk update

Ok after procrastinating on my Space hulk models I finally decided to do some painting on my models, sadly all references on how to paint them are few and far between.  but progress is undaunted. so here I present them to you

The chalice also received his paint love quota  but since it is a smaller mini it is already fully painted.

Joy to the hulk, Genestealers to all.

Today I got my copy from my local customs office, I could have gotten it on Saturday, but work messed with my schedule so I had to wait until today, anyway I couldnt belive that It only took a week to get my copy it shipped ultra-fast it usually a 3 week delay here it was 3 days plus 4 for customs.

As every one, the contents are great, my copy however has some minor issues like a broken hand from the genestealers, and the back from one of the titles was damaged but overall everything is great.

I read Warhammer Tau that the sand clock doesn't last 3 minutes and I can confirm it mine last 2minutes and 54 seconds, that makes me wonder if all the timers have different times.

Space hulk tweaking

Space hulk , has a lot of options if you use the cannon that has be released so far, with that on my mind and following on a post I left at vanus temple i envision the following posibilities:

Space marines is an intruder option it will never stalk like genestealers.

Genestealers is a stalker or denizen option I don't see them in an intruder army role(O.K. it might be but with a heavy rule tweak).

Orks are orks so the will ignore any rule I can think about them and happly fight in any role

Chaos space marines can be used as intruder most of the time but against SM, only as stalker.

What do you think, are you ready to pit orks against genestealers or chaos?

Bug bitten

Ok, after finishing my entry for the GWpertinent contest I must confess that color scheme and finish just begged me to keep the work for the rest in my Space Hulk genestealers, so far i just created the bases and modified some with some bits.

first I remove the tabs that plugs the feet from the mini to the base
second I apply superglue to the base add the tab to fill the gap and put some plastic net.

then I added some bits to a few bases

finally over coated with black.


with that I have ready the bases for painting next step is paint the minis and glue them.


I will keep updating as I go.
