Resuming work on the long lost Ork Fighta

After more than a year after committing to the challenge I finally resumed work on my Ork Fighta, What I did this week was to add some guitar strings  a cockpit and reimagined the wings.

As you can see time  has taken its toll since one of the rear wings is missing

the missing vertical control surface will see a serious revamping once I decided on the general shape, for the cockpit I went simple and just glued an space marine console and a Ork torso with arms, posed everything together  and glued the cockpit to the main fuselage.

here is the work I did on the wings, so far is just 3 plastic sheets sandwiched to get a more robust surface that sadly it still needs some pieces to make it work.

What do you think?

My Ork Bike Bases

After doing the bases for my Space Marines Bikes I decided that I wanted something similar with my Orks so tonight I started on the first of six that I need.
The plan is to resemble  battle zone terrain so instead of the flat surface that I used on the Space Marines Bikes that I did recently we need to have a rough one that is going to be accomplished using some sand and broken plastic pieces. Well I have take so long introducing the post so here is the part that is going to interest you.

My ork PainBoy

Here are the pictures for my Painboy he is missing his orderly but that is only temporary both will be ready to fight by next week.

Deciding what colors to use was the hardest part here.

here is a side by side picture from the back

I like the new base finish, it took a bit of experimenting but looks good on the painboy and way better on the BigMek

My AoBR Ork Nobz

A short post, for this weekend game I managed to paint my AoBR Nobz and found out that an old mini was properly sized to used as a nob here are the rest.
the  ork standard-bearer was converted to a Nob by simply attaching  some bits here and there I think it looks good.
